Soba Noodles in Peanut Sauce

Hey everybody! First post! Welcome to Big World, Tiny Kitchen! I'll be preparing meals with origins around the world from my tiny kitchen in my tiny apartment in a tiny town! My first recipe will be one that features Soba noodles with a spicy peanut sauce.

About Me

My name is Sara Mackh, and I really love trying new foods from cultures all over the world. However, I don't have a huge budget, I live in a rural area without a lot of access to international food ingredients, and on top of all that, I have a teeny-tiny kitchen! Not much counter space, not much storage space, not many cooking utensils. However, I can still cook great, diverse foods in spite of these limitations! I may need to substitute some ingredients, I may take a few shortcuts to avoid making too many dishes, and I may simplify things and look for the cheap-o way to do things sometimes, but hey, it's better than TV dinners every night!

I am in no way a trained cook. There may be ways that I prepare some things that would make a professional cringe! But I've cooked in my personal kitchen for years now and my family seems pretty happy with the results! This website is more of a way for me to experiment and explore, and share what I find with the world.
